SXSW

Within the South by Southwest 2009 lineup, I ran across a band called The Forms. They are an alternative band from New York City. "Red Gun" off of their self-titled album shows the talent of the band. It has a great sound. The indie-rock sound, with the guitars and great melody, at first seem simple, but keep listening and it pushes towards a more complex composition. The overall sound of the band is definitely something I could listen to on a daily basis. I think The Forms are a great pick for the SXSW Music Festival.
